The Third International Conference on Numerical Methods for Scientific Computations and Advanced Applications (NMSCAA'18) is organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE PS Computer Society Chapter (IEEE).

Time

The conference is scheduled for May 28 - May 31, 2018, with arrival: May 27 and departure: noon May 31.

The conference will be held in Hotel Augusta in the picturesque town of Hissarya, located at the foot of the Sredna gora mountain, 175 km (by car) to the east from Sofia.

Topics

Specific topics of interest (but not limited to) are the following:

• Multiscale and multiphysics problems;
• Robust preconditioning;
• Monte Carlo methods;
• Optimization and control systems;
• Scalable parallel algorithms;
• Advanced computing for innovations;
• In silico investigations of biological molecules and complexes.

The Scientific program of NMSCAA’18 will include:

• Plenary invited talks (45 min);
• Contributed talks (30 min);
• Posters (information about templates of the posters will be provided later)

Proceedings of extended abstracts (short communication) will be available at the conference. They are to be written in standard LaTeX and sent to the conference e-mail. The expected length is between 2 and 4 pages.

The conference fees cover: the booklet of abstracts, conference materials, the publication of conference proceedings, the coffee breaks, the conference reception, the official dinner and excursion.
