The conference will be held at the Bulgarian
Red Cross Educational Center in Sozopol
(map
of Sozopol), a picturesque town on the Black Sea coast, 36 km
to the
south from Bourgas
(the nearest international
airport).
Accommodation
The participants may contact their travel agencies for arrangement of accommodation in Sozopol.
Some of the travel agencies provide very attractive packages including air ticket plus hotel reservation.
Some of the hotels preferred by our participants during the years are:

Apolon is next to Red Cross educational center (a part of the
same building).
Transportation
An attractive way to organize your travel is to use a direct
regular or charter flight
to Burgas airport.
There is a regular bus line 15
from Burgas airport to the bus station south (Автогара Юг) located near the city center.
The latter is close to the railway station and serves as a starting point
for the regular buses to Sozopol
(and other resorts close to Burgas). Some of the transport companies operating the line Sofia-Burgas-Sofia also use south bus station.
Burgasbus provide
a
map of Burgas with bus lines (the bus stop to South bus/railway
station is "Terminal south").
Alternative way to the public bus is
to rent a
car or use
a taxi
from the Burgas airport.
The conference participants who will fly to Sofia airport
may rent-a-car to Sozopol, or use regular buses via
Central bus station
(trip is approximately 6-7 hours, depending on the amount of stops). Be careful if you choose a bus to Burgas if it arrives
at Bus station South or Bus station West. In the latter case you may need to use the public transport in Burgas (see above).
From Sofia airport to central bus station and railway station you can use
Metro.

The buses from Burgas to Sozopol start from Bus Station South in Burgas.
They are operated by two companies Burgasbus (БУРГАСБУС) and Sozopolbus (СОЗОПОЛБУС).
The buses operated by Burgasbus start to Sozopol at
7.00; 8.00; 9.00; 10.00; 11.00; 13.00; 14.00; 15.00; 16.00; 17.00; 19.00; 20.00
Those operated by Sozopolbus start at
06.30; 07.30; 08.30; 09.30; 10.30; 11.30; 12.30; 13.30; 14.30; 15.30; 16.30; 17.30; 18.30; 19.30
