Organization and Goals:

The event is organized by the Bulgarian Section of SIAM (BGSIAM) and will be hosted by the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Science.

The financial support of SIAM is highly appreciated and acknowledged.

Realizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the role that applied mathematics plays in advancing science and technology and industry, we solicit the support of SIAM as the major international organization for Industrial and Applied Mathematics in order to promote the application of mathematics to science, engineering and technology in Republic of Bulgaria.

Scientific Topics:

Following the traditions, the topics of interest include (but are not limited to): partial differential equations; cryptography; numerical methods and algorithms; scientific computing; neural networks; optimization and control systems; industrial mathematics.
